Holiday Breakfast Sausage and Cheese Muffins

This family favorite is a recipe we make every holiday. My grandmothers original recipe has about 400 calories per muffin so I decided to lighten it up! This will become your go to breakfast muffin, trust me it is fabulous.

Step 1 Brown the meat


Combine the ingredients in a large bowl then fill muffin tin to the top


Bake for 20-25 min at 375 degrees

1lb Lean turkey breakfast sausage

3 cups of bisquick

1 can of heart healthy condensed cheese soup

3/4 cup of skim milk

1  1/2 cups of  fat free cheddar cheese

First brown the meat and drain it then let it cool

Combine bisquick and sausage and cheese

In a separate bowl combine milk and cheese soup mix thoroughly

Form a “well” in the middle of the dry ingredients then pour mixture into the well and mix all together

Spoon into muffin tin and fill to the top

Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes

Makes 16 muffins
